2008 Spring Assembly - March 7-8, 2008 - Calvary, Richmond
THEME - "TELLING YOUR STORY"
Throughout history and today, sharing our personal stories of faith has been and is perhaps the most effective way to draw people to Jesus Christ. Join Carrie for a morning to explore how can each of us talk about our journey of faith in a way that is real and attractive, that draws attention to Jesus and shows how He can make a difference in life.
INTRODUCING JESUS IN TODAY'S SPIRITUAL LANDSCAPE In today's spiritual climate, Jesus is frequently relegated to being one of the many religious gurus whom one can follow. Being a Christian is portrayed as one of many paths one can take to experience God or the divine. This workshop will explore how we introduce Jesus in this relativistic and pluralistic spiritual climate. Carrie will discuss how Jesus Christ is totally unique and unlike any other person who has walked the earth. She will give practical tools for sharing this Jesus with those who do not know Him.
