Reminder – Dues packets were sent in the Spring to Chapter Presidents. Please call the National Office (770-517-8552) or email DOK1885@dok-national.org if you have not received your chapter’s dues packet.

Information you may need to contact your National Council (Executive Boards, National Council Chairs and Province Presidents) as well as the National Office is listed on the inside front cover of your Royal Cross magazine. Also listed is where to send articles and photos for the Royal Cross and where to send change of address forms. Anyone who is moving or has moved and anyone who moves around throughout the year needs to note this information! Your Royal Cross will not be delivered when you are listed by the Post Office as “Temporarily away” or “Unable to forward”. Tell us your current address, please.

Do you want to help the National Office staff save money on the Order’s Operating Funds?
If yes, please send the office any change of address before the next Royal Cross magazine goes out. The post office charges the Order $1.31 for each magazine that they must return with a change of address or with “Temporarily Away” stamped on the address label.
Daughters who move, whether temporarily or permanently, need to notify the office each time they move so that the magazine can keep up with them.
Our last issue of the Royal Cross cost the Order about $655 in returned magazines. Those Daughters never received the magazine and its messages. Let’s be good stewards of the Order’s funds.
STOP!
When mailing an order (including orders for new member kits) and dues payment and donations together, please use one check for the order, one for dues payments and one for donations. Always use an order form when ordering either supplies or member kits.

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME:
If a Daughter in a chapter needs assistance with her dues payments or the cost of replacing a cross, please look to the chapter members first, then your Priest, then to the Diocesan treasury and then to the Province treasury. The National Office has funds for assistance, but would like to conserve these funds for the Daughters who are in chapters that just cannot help her. Anyway...what better gift could there be than to share with another Daughter the gift of funds in a time of financial need. What a blessing for you both!
Checks to the National Office:
Because processing thousands of individuals' checks is very time consuming and costs the Order additional bank charges, the National Office staff requests that all dues payments for the chapter be combined into one check.
For the same reasons, when ordering crosses or supplies, please send just one check.
Please do not include dues payments and order payments in the same check.
