QUIET DAYS / MEETING INVITATIONS

Saturday, March 17, 2012 - Quiet Day - Church of the Good Shepherd, Tomball

"A Lenten Labyrinth" - A Lenten Quiet Day sponsored by the Daughters of the King - Led by:   The Reverend Glynden Bode

During the season of Lent, give yourself, a friend and/or a spouse the gift of a day of quiet, prayer, reflection, fellowship, and a walking meditation. You are invited to a Quiet Day, featuring an ancient spiritual tool for walking prayer, the labyrinth, an elegant device for centering, reflection, discernment, clarity and communion with the Holy, thus deepening your relationship with God. The pathway winds through a circular design, leading the walker to the center. Though the design looks like a maze, it has only one path without wrong turns or dead-ends, guiding the prayer-walker to the center and out on a safe and certain path.

Participants will spend time learning about the labyrinth, centering, walking, sharing and reflecting.

A light lunch and Eucharist will follow. Suggested donation: $15

Please, RSVP to Annette at 281-583-1244
